Sovereign is a personal assistant app for iPhone. It stores your notes, tasks, journal entries, passwords, secrets and API keys, and its AI reads, organises and answers questions about them entirely on your device. Nothing is processed in the cloud, and anything you choose to back up is encrypted on your phone first, with keys we never hold.
What Sovereign is
Sovereign is an iPhone app, published by Kode Foundry, that acts as a private personal assistant. It is where you keep the things you would not want a cloud service to read: your notes, your plans, your journal, your passwords and your API keys. The AI that works over that material runs on the phone itself, so your content stays on hardware you own.

Write notes, tasks, checklists and journal entries. Sovereign links them into a personal knowledge graph so related ideas surface together instead of getting lost.
Store credentials safely
Passwords, secrets, API keys and social accounts live in a vault on your phone, each with fields that fit what it is. Everything is encrypted at rest.
An assistant that runs on the phone
A language model on your device drafts, summarises, answers questions about your own content and suggests what to do next. No prompt is sent to a server.
Read your email without exposing it
If you connect a Google account, Sovereign reads your Gmail inbox read-only and summarises it on the device. The messages are never uploaded to us.
Backups only you can open
Cloud backup is optional. When it is on, data is encrypted on your phone with keys derived from your credentials, so the backup is unreadable to us.
How Sovereign uses your Google account
Signing in with Google is optional. When you use it, Sovereign receives your name, email address and Google account identifier to create and recover your account. If you additionally connect Gmail, Sovereign requests read-only access so it can show and summarise your recent messages inside the app, on your device. Sovereign does not send, delete or alter your mail, does not transfer your Google data to anyone, and does not use it for advertising or to train any model. You can disconnect at any time from the app or from your Google account permissions page. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
